SSU welcome Arrows

SuperSport United welcome the KwaZulu-Natal province outfit Golden Arrows in a crucial DStv Premiership encounter on Wednesday.

The match will take place at the Atteridgeville’s Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Kickoff is at 5pm and the match will be televised live on SuperSport Variety 3.

Matsatsantsa must use this important match to their advantage as they are playing at home.

Also, this is a must win match for the Tshwane-based-outfit as they dropped to position six on the DStv Premiership table after losing to Cape Town City on the road in their last outing.

A win for Matsatsantsa will see them moving into the top five bracket on the Premiership table.

Matsatsantsa will rely on players such as veteran Onismor Bhasera, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, Teboho Mokoena and former Arrows international Kudakwashe Mahachi.

According to Ditlhokwe, his teammates must regain confidence ahead of their home match aftrer a serious setback in their last defeat in Cape Town.

The result against Cape Town City was very demoralizing and a bad result but maybe the problem is that we just got back from an international break, a lot of travelling and fatigue. But that said, it should not be an excuse. We just had a bad day,"

"It is important that we regroup and work towards the next game. This game against Arrows is an opportunity to redeem ourselves, we must focus and fight hard for a result that will give us the boost we desire." said SuperSport United defender Thatayaone Ditlhokwe.

In their last meeting with Arrows, United dropped all the three points after losing 3-1 to Arrows last year in October.
