SuperSport United Football Club got home ground advantage for the semifinal of the 2020 MTN8 Cup.

This after the draw that was conducted in Tshwane after yesterday’s Last 8 round match of the lucrative tournament between rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and Bloemfontein Celtic.

Matsatsantsa welcome Celtic in the second semifinal game that is scheduled to take place in the first week of October 2020.

This match will be preceded by the first semifinal between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs at the end of this month.

The two Soweto outfits eliminated Cape Town City FC and Maritzburg United on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Meanwhile defending champions SuperSport advanced to the Last Four after beating TTM FC in a five-goal-thriller in Venda on Saturday afternoon.
