SuperSport United wrapped up their preparation ahead of their crucial DStv Premiership encounter on Saturday afternoon.

Matsatsantsa welcome the Polokwane-based-outfit Baroka FC at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville.

The match kicks off at 5pm.

Matsatsantsa have been hard at work preparing for their next home match without seven players who were out on international duty.

According to head coach Kaitano Tembo, the players rejoined their teammates this afternoon as they needed to have some rest.

“The international break came as a welcome relief, because we feel there were some players who needed a little bit of time in terms of nursing their injuries because after our last game we had a few pains in the legs so I think that gave us an opportunity to manage that.

Rest is more important than them really training. So we couldn’t really do a tactical session earlier than we wanted because what’s important for the players is to be fresh on Saturday,” said the coach.

The Matsatsantsa mentor Tembo is are aware that they are facing a very good side in Baroka FC that is also structured.

“We are playing against a very good team. A team that works very hard, so we need to try and match them on that in terms of work ethics.

I think we have got enough quality to win the game but it is not going to be an easy game. We really need to work hard for it but I’m quite confident that we are up for it,” said the Matsatsantsa head coach Tembo.
