SuperSport United Football Club under19 team left for Cape Town last night to participate in the 2023 Bayhill Cup.

The boys have arrived safely in the Western Cape region this afternoon after a long trip from the Gauteng province.

This is the junior tournament that has unearthed local household names since its inception back in 1989.

The boys will be coached by Tumi Ndaba and the legendary set-piece genius Jabu Maluleke who won the league title at United back in 2010.

SuperSport take on Hazendal AFC in their opener on Thursday afternoon at 13:45.

In their previous participation, United emerged victorious on three occasions in 2010, 2016 and managed to defend the title in 2017.
