SuperSport United Football Club DStv Diski Challenge boys beat Thirsti team 5-3 in a Friendly Family match at the club’s training headquarters.

The entertaining match was held at the Megawatt Park training facility in Sunninghill, Johannesburg on Tuesday afternoon.

Both teams have one thing in common, they are supplied by Thirsti, the company that has discovered the extraordinary spring water in the early 90’s by an industrious woman called by Anneriet Van Niekerk.

The visitors made their intentions clear and hunger for goals as they netted two strikes in the first half.

The halftime score was 2-0.

Thirsti team continued with the same momentum and attacking from all angles and were lucky to score their third goal in the second half.

Towards the end of the match United made impressive substitutions and the lads managed to level matters and changed complexion of the match.

Matsatsantsa continued putting tremendous pressure to the visitors and the final score was 5-3 to United.

It was an exciting family affair as the visitors mingled with the hosts and posing for pictures with the Matsatsantsa technical team and club officials.
