SuperSport United will finalize their weekly training session on Friday before flying out to Cape Town for their crucial DStv Premiership match this weekend.
Matsatsantsa take on Stellenbosch at the Danie Craven Stadium on Saturday night.
Kickoff is at 8pm.
United are aiming to keep their new 2023-2024 Premier Soccer League (PSL) season’s unbeaten run going into this encounter.
Also, SuperSport are looking to settle the score following their 1-0 loss to the Cape side in the MTN8 quarterfinal match at home a fortnight ago.
SuperSport registered a home victory in their opener against Richards Bay, they shared the spoils (0-0) with another KwaZulu-Natal outfit AmaZulu and they then beat Cape Town City 1-0 this past weekend.
Matsatsantsa have assembled a balanced competitive squad that can give any team a run for their money.
According to head coach Gavin Hunt, if their stocky midfielder Grant Margeman continues with his remarkable performance, the team will deliver the goods this season and beyond. Margeman was a marvel to watch when United won the match by the narrow margin against City last Friday in Tshwane.
"Ja [it's an instruction from me], he's got that in his make-up but he doesn't do it enough, I think he's got so much speed over 10, 15 metres he can play combinations," Hunt said.
"We don't play with defensive midfield players and attacking midfield players, I don't believe in that - so we need to understand the moments of the game.
"And he's good in those moments, he can give us more, but the games he's played here, he's been good for us - long may it continue but yes, it's an instruction from me."
The team leaves for Cape Town after the Friday morning training session at the Megawatt Park in Sunninghill, Johannesburg.
The match will be televised live on SuperSport international channel.
