TEAM NEWS

Swallows are set to welcome back Tshegofatso Mabasa from a one-match suspension while his fellow Pirates loanee Bongani Sam is also available for selection as they were prohibited from facing his parent club, Bucs.

SuperSport, on the other hand, will also welcome back Sundowns loanees Ricardo Goss and Godspower Ighodaro who are both available for selection as they were prohibited from facing his parent club, Masandawana in Matsatsantsa's last domestic game.

WHAT WAS SAID?

Moroka Swallows head coach Steve Komphela

"I'm happy for the players who got an opportunity to play [against Pirates]. There were also clear tactical questions that they posed, we had to respond," Komphela said.

"There were also a lot of tactical questions we posed and expecting answers from them, if you remove the two goals that I think we gave away cheaply, we could have done better on the first goal and second goal.

"Above all, the lessons I got from this match, how much guts, how much balls, how much strength, how brave are they, to start when we are high on their box?"

SuperSport United head coach Gavin Hunt

“We had more than enough opportunities and we didn’t score [against Al Hilal Benghazi],” Hunt said.

“The way everything was handled wasn’t very good but we can’t make that as an excuse. The way things are handled is mind-boggling but we’re disappointed because we had enough chances to win.

“I am not happy with the result, it was very difficult circumstances to play under but we just try our best in every game.”

Moroka Swallows: PLAYERS TO WATCH

Lindokuhle Mtshali: Swallows' jersey 10 is the man who makes the Soweto giants tick having provided two assists in the league this season and he could be key to the team's win over SuperSport.

Tshegofatso Mabasa: The left-footed striker is in the race for the league's Golden Boot award having netted six goals. Mabasa will be eager to add to his tally when he faces SuperSport's leaky defence.

SuperSport United: PLAYERS TO WATCH

Lyle Lakay: The experienced left-footer is playing some of his best football at SuperSport this term having scored twice and provided two assists in the league, and he will pose a threat to Swallows from set-pieces.

Bradley Grobler: The lethal centre forward has six goals - one behind the league's joint top scorers Lucas Ribeiro and Khanyisa Mayo. Grobler will be keen to score and propel his side to a win in Soweto.
