SuperSport United midfielder Jesse Donn is positive that his team will keep the same fighting spirit going into the next league match.

Matsatsantsa take on Polokwane City FC on the road in a crucial DStv Premiership encounter at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday night.

Kickoff is at 7:30pm.

United are going into tonight’s match highly motivated following their last match they won against TS Galaxy FC last week.

“The win against Galaxy in our previous encounter was the perfect motivation moving into this game. We managed to walk away with all three points, but more importantly showed the SuperSport fight that we need if we want to continue to stay in the top three.

Even after going down to 10 men, we were able to hold onto our one goal advantage.

We will certainly take the momentum from the Galaxy win into this encounter and will be hoping to show the same fight in this game as last week,” said Donn who officially got married last week.

In their previous encounter, United lost to City in the inaugural Carling Knockout competition a few weeks ago in Tshwane.

“The last time we played PLK City, they fought harder than us and seemed to be hungrier for the win, so if we can match them in that department, I have no doubt that we have the ability to punish them.

With that in mind, I would love to thank all the loyal Matsatsantsa fans for rallying behind us week after week – you give us a reason to continue to fight,” said the hard-working midfielder.

Meanwhile Donn has officially got married to his lifetime sweet-heart Kelsey at the Urban Life Church in Midrand, Johannesburg last week.

“I am over the moon to have married Kelsey and feel lucky to call her my wife. She has always supported me on and off the field and I have no doubt that even my football career will be better with her in it. We got married at the church we both belong to,” he concluded.
