United aim for first win of the new season on the road

SuperSport United will take on AmaZulu in a crucial mid-week away match on Wednesday afternoon.

The match is scheduled for Moses Mabhida Stadium

Kick-off is at 5pm and the match will be televised live on SuperSport’s PSL channel 202.

This will be Matsatsantsa’s second match of the season but first one on the road as they are aiming for maximum points.

United, under new mentor Gavin Hunt who returned to the side nine years after making history with the club, will be without new captain Onismor Bhasera who picked up an injury in the first match of the new season at home on the weekend.

Also, the visitors will miss their new signing Ricardo Goss who unfairly picked up a red card in his first ever game in the United colours.

This is going to be a tough one as both United and AmaZulu are gunning for three points after sharing the spoils against Chippa United and TS Galaxy in their opening matches respectively.

Matsatsantsa looked to be a balanced side that will rely on the return of their marksman Bradley Grobler who netted in their opener at home last weekend and a few new recruits such as Thulani Hlatshwayo, Grant Margeman and Thabang Sibanyoni.
