United prepare for third tough league clash

The 2019-2020 Premier Soccer League (PSL) season was not a rosy start for SuperSport United.

Matsatsantsa kicked off the new season with a Tshwane derby clash and dropped maximum points on the road.

They then regained confidence and beat Orlando Pirates 3-0 in their first home match at the Mbombela Stadium.

The two encounters were not predictable as this was unusual for the Absa Premiership to kick off the league with draw-cards.

As if that wasn’t enough, Matsatsantsa will take another trip to Johannesburg (United played Bidvest Wits in a Cup match last Sunday) for a crucial league encounter against Kaizer Chiefs.

The match is scheduled for FNB Stadium on Saturday night. Kick-off is at 18:00.

This is not going to be an easy one for visitors United who won two consecutive matches against Pirates and Wits respectively.

However, the victories were a big confidence boost for Matsatsantsa going into this match after advancing to the last four of the 2019 MTN8 Cup on the weekend.
