We have a tough run of matches in January – Furman

The mood in the camp is great going into the final game of the year 2019.

We were very pleased with the victory over Highlands Park and we are looking forward to our encounter with Chippa United.

The Chippa game will be very difficult as they are also on a high after their recent win against Cape Town City FC. We hope we can finish another memorable year on a high and give our fans something to celebrate over the festive season.

Thabo Qalinge and Evans Rusike are making good progress from their respective injuries. We hope they will regain full fitness in the coming weeks. Sipho Mbule and Jones Lungu are back in action which is a huge boost to the squad.

We will be having a few days off after the Chippa game. During this period, it is vital that the squad maintain their fitness and we will all have programs to follow. We have a very tough run of matches in January and it is important the whole squad is ready for action on our return!

Our goalkeeper Ronwen Williams always loves playing in his hometown of Port Elizabeth and I’m sure all his family and friends will be at the game cheering him and the team on.

It is also great that we are launching a new supporters branch in the Eastern Cape and we hope we can treat them to a great performance and a victory!
