SuperSport United DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) boys are facing a tough clash against second placed side Cape Town City this coming weekend.
The DDC Family Festival match is scheduled for Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday in Soweto.
Kick-off is at 12pm.
SuperSport United website managed to have Q and A with the DDC skipper Bilal Baloyi ahead of the crucial match.
This is a top-of-the-table clash with Matsatsantsa leading the pack with 55 points having played 25 matches so far.
Tell us about the team’s preparations for the next crucial match against second spot side (they have collected 54 points so far) Cape Town City?
The preparations have been going quite well, my teammates have been working hard at training to another solid performance like we did in our last league match.
Tell us about training sessions this week and obviously the level of confidence at the camp?
The training sessions are intense, and we are putting more effort to get a positive result on the weekend but the coaches have been doing well in managing our fitness level and we are in good spirits heading into the game on Sunday.
The Citizens are a dangerous side now because they are seriously eyeing to unseat you at the top, what are your thoughts?
I think they have been doing well in the past few games and it’s always an intense game between us and them as they are not an easy team to beat but we are not focused on them, we are focusing on our team and working hard to get maximum points on the weekend.
Thank you so much Bilal and we wish you and the team all the best on the Sunday match!
